Project Surf Camp uses surfing, the beach, and other ocean activities as an educational modality to build self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy in individuals with special needs. We further provide opportunities to build social skills, improve physical fitness, develop healthy outlets for stress reduction, and foster independence.
Camps are on Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the summer, from 9-1 with a hot dog lunch included. There is a $50 registration fee, but no one will be turned away! Meet at Morro Bay Surf Company and get your wetsuit and board, all provided.
Children with all special needs are served, classes are a max of ten children, and siblings are welcome. Contact John info@projectsurfcamp.com for more information or to answer any questions.
