An iPad Workshop and Information Networking Opportunity
This series will be informative sessions to
discover how the iPad can work for you, a
parent of a child with a disability. Our aim is to
help establish a series of ‘best practices’ to
introduce your child to the iPad. This will
include: an introduction to basic information
and usage of the iPad, settings modifications
and restrictions, and goal‐setting for your child.
Further, we will introduce and recommend apps
which can enhance learning and communica‐
tion. No prior experience with this technology
is necessary and owning an iPad is not required
This is the 2nd class in a 3‐part series and will
focus on iPad app recommendations.
This class will feature special guest John Lee
from Central Coast Assistive Technology Center.
